Carrie Rossiter and Peter George Rowe, were two London based musicians who initially made their fortune as songwriters for hire. But after a retreat to India they returned to England, bought a remote farmhouse and promptly built their own studio.
Surrounding themselves with an unruly bunch of gifted musicians, The Dacoits were born. With dark and beautiful crafted pop songs filled with bite and emotion The Dacoits deliver a mix of PJ Harvey inspired Garage Rock. It’s fair to say they could be seen as a cross between Nirvana and The Carpenters!
They have recently completed an EP, which was produced in-house with the help of Chris Sheldon (FooFighters/Idlewild/Pixies).
